An Original Fantasy Adventure

Terestea [TEH-res-tee] is an original new musical with music and lyrics by Mikey Marmann and a book by John Cavaseno.

The Kingdom of Terestea faces imminent destruction due to the royal family’s misguided taking of the Phoenix Crystal, a magical gem that once gave life and fertility to their land. Now, Robin Mander along with his brother, Jay, seek to right the wrongs of the past and save their homeland. Meanwhile, Princess and heir to the throne, Natalia Terra must reconcile with her family’s choices and decide what kind of leader she will be.

This exciting, new musical asks its characters, as well as its audience, what they would be willing to sacrifice for the world they wish to create.

Meet the writers!

John Cavaseno

Book

John Cavaseno is a graduate of SUNY Cortland’s Musical Theatre program. He’s directed two plays for Cortland High School as well as choreographed multiple pieces for the SUNY Cortland Dance Demonstration. As a writer he’s written two full-length plays and as well as a one-act. He is also a certified intimacy captain and professional fight captain.

Mikey Marmann

Music & Lyrics

Mikey Marmann is an award-winning songwriter & musician. He holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Molloy University/CAP21, where he had the opportunity to work and study under accomplished writers including Marshall Pailet & Andy Roninson. He has also been a working professionally as an actor, singer, and musician since 2017, having performed all over the country, as well as Japan and while sailing on the ocean.
